When we receive your carburetor, magneto or other item, we log in your address and contact information along with the identity of your item.
Further, your item is inspected for damage in shipping, and if necessary, we notify the shipper, and request guidance on proceeding.
When you prepare to ship to us, we ask everyone to include their address and contact information INSIDE THE BOX in addition to the shipping label. If you give your item to a shipper, and do not put your information inside the box, their shipping label may hide your address.
Also, we fill out a shop order tag that follows your item as it makes it way through our facility.
We take these measures to insure that you get back the same item you sent to us for reconditioning.
When your item is ready to ship, we are careful to package in such a way to prevent breakage. This is especially true in regard to magnetos and distributors; if not protected, the cap is susceptible to damage in transit.
If your item is damaged in return shipping from us to you, please notify the shipper as soon as possible, and please notify us. We may wish to handle the claim from here if the item is insured.
